Telkomsel is also the first operator to bring mobile banking services were launched in 2000. In 2003, back Telkomsel became the first operator to introduce a prepaid international roaming services. Three years later (2006), the company claims as the first operator launched 3G services. The company was also successful as the first operator reach 100 million customers and also has the most extensive network in Indonesia.
At a time when other operators are reluctant to build base stations in remote, Telkomsel even afford it. This has now become the company a competitive advantage in terms of network quality. Not only that, about an extra for data services, Telkomsel also trying to give the best to start from the latest 3G until now, technology LTE (long term evolution) to the customer.
