Gudang Public (Public Warehouse) is obtained from the warehouse rent or hire from others for use storing goods. Public warehouses have traditionally been classified based on operational specialization such as (1) general merchandise, (2) refrigerated, (3) special commodity, (4) bonded, and (5) household goods and furniture.
 1) Barang Umum ( General Marchandise ) warehouse are designed to handle package products such as electronics, paper, food, small, appliances, and household supplies.
2) Gudang Berpendingin ( Refrigerated warehouse typically offer frozen or chilled capacity designed to protect food, medical, photographic ,and chemical products requiring special temperatures.
 3) Barang Khusus ( Special Comodity) are designed to handled bulk material or items requiring special handling, such as tires or clothing.
4) Berikat ( Bonded Warehouse) are licensed by the government to store goods prior to payment of taxed or import/export duties
5) Household goods and furniture Commonly used household furniture factories moving companies, although sometimes used for merchandise.

Gudang Pribadi ( Private Warehouse ) A private warehouse is typically operated by the firm owning the product. The building, however, may be owned or leased
Contract Warehouse ( Contract Warehouse ) contract warehousing combines characteristic of private and public operations. A longterm contractual relationship will typically result in lower total cost than a warehouse. contract warehouses typically offer a ranger of logistical services such as transportation management, inventory control,order processing,customer service, and return merchandise processing.
